Your questions, our honest answers
Different insoles are available for Ranger BGS 2.0 to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Ranger BGS 2.0 has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Ranger BGS 2.0 to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. The Ranger BGS 2.0 is an all-season model, so it can be worn in both summer and winter. The shoe is breathable and waterproof thanks to the Gore-Tex membrane and with the help of our Sun Reflect System, it deflects sunlight so that heating can be minimised.

The Ranger BGS 2.0 can be cared for quickly and easily. With black shoe polish, which does not impair the breathability of the leather, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is ready for any weather. For this model, we especially recommend our black shoe polish, which contains Sun Reflect pigments. This minimises the heating of the shoe by 20%.
The uncomplicated care of the Ranger BGS 2.0 ensures long-lasting enjoyment of the shoe's quality.
In addition to the change in design, the Ranger BGS 2.0 has an improved outsole compared to the Ranger BGS. This is now even more slip-resistant and thus provides the necessary stability.
The new sole of the Ranger BGS 2.0 ensures even more safety during every use.
The main difference between women's and men's models of Ranger BGS 2.0 is in the fit. The women's model is produced on a narrower last to give narrow feet more room in the shoe. The men's model, on the other hand, is produced on a wider last to provide more room for wider feet. However, there are no visual or functional differences between the two models.
Recommendation: If you have narrow feet, we recommend the women's model as it is specifically tailored to this fit. If you have wider feet, we recommend the men's model to ensure a comfortable fit.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Ranger BGS 2.0 is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

Das war bei diesen Schuhen bereits beim ersten Mal Anziehen der Fall. Die Verarbeitung ist hervorragend, sie sehen, meiner Meinung nach, auch gut aus. Ein weiteres großes Plus für mich ist die Möglichkeit, die Schuhe wieder zu Besohlen. Meine vorherigen Trekkingstiefel, bei denen ich dasselbe Modell über mehrere Jahre angeschafft hatte, musste ich deswegen stets entsorgen, obwohl sie nicht sehr viel weniger gekosten haben. Einziges winziges Manko bei mir ist, dass ich mir längere Schnürsenkel anschaffen musste. Diese sind, vermutlich dem eigentlichen Einsatzzweck entsprechend, äußerst kurz gehalten. Ich würde die Schuhe jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Einfach tolle Schuhe. Super bequem, robust und wasserdicht. Die Schuhe werden bei mir hauptsächlich zum Wandern und für Lost Place Touren getragen und ich bin sehr zufrieden. Die Größenermittlung von Haix ist leider Quatsch, schlug mir zwei Größen kleiner vor als normal; ich habe den Schuh in meiner normalen Größe bestellt und dann nochmal eine halbe Größe größer nachliefern lassen. Jetzt bin ich aber sehr glücklich damit, es läuft sich nicht nur sicher und bequem, sondern auch erstaunlich leichtfüßig. Toller Schuh, der sein Geld unbedingt wert ist!

Super Stiefel und das Geld auf jeden Fall wert.
Ich habe für die Arbeit leichte, bequeme und dennoch sportliche Schuhe gesucht, welche ich durchaus auch noch bei Freizeitaktivitäten tragen kann. Nachdem ich die Stiefel einige Zeit getestet habe, kann ich sagen, all dies erfüllen sie. Sie verleihen dem Fuß Stabilität und Sicherheit, ohne einzuengen. Weiterhin finde ich es sehr gut, dass die Stiefel nicht so extrem dominat wirken an den Füßen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Immer toll...nicht billig, aber Geld wert
Klasse Stiefel....sind nicht billig, aber sind andere ordentliche Schuhe auch nicht und halten im Alltag, im Regen oder im nassen Gras sehr lange und gut trocken...Grenzen gibt es immer....aber bislang die Besten
