Gives you support. Your Scout 2.0 won't let you down, even on detoured terrain.
- Durably waterproof
- Relieving damping
- Vibram sole
- Made in Europe
Waterproof thanks to GORE-TEX®
Your feet stay dry and you stay healthy because the Scout 2.0 is permanently waterproof and extremely breathable. This is ensured by the three-layer GORE-TEX® membrane throughout the lining of the Scout 2.0.
Extra slip-resistant with VIBRAM
You'll stand securely in the Scout 2.0 as it smooths your path on rough terrain. The sole of the Scout 2.0 has an optimal rubber compound and is therefore particularly slip-resistant, stable and stiff. This is the VIBRAM effect incorporated into the sole of the Scout 2.0.
Secure hold thanks to anti-slip
The Scout 2.0 gives you stability in every position. To protect you against skidding, the sole of the Scout 2.0 with its special rubber compound and innovative tread construction offers extremely high slip resistance and grip on a wide variety of surfaces.
Relieving cushioning with HAIX absorption
You'll experience a comfortable feel in the Scout 2.0 even when you're out for several hours. Because the integrated cushioning wedge inside cushions your steps. We call this HAIX Absorption: for drive even on long working days.
Breathable with Climate System
In the Scout 2.0 your foot can breathe, because a special foam system ensures that the air circulates in the shoe and moisture can escape. The Climate System works like an air conditioning system in a shoe.
Precise fit thanks to special lasts
The right shoe for your feet. Thanks to specially designed lasts, your Scout 2.0 fits perfectly and provides ultimate wearing comfort, the whole day long.
Different insoles are available for Scout 2.0 to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Scout 2.0 has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Scout 2.0 to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
The men's model of the HAIX Scout 2.0 is produced on a wider last to give wider feet more room in the shoe. There are no visual or functional differences here.
The men's model is recommended for wider feet due to the fit.
In contrast to the previous model, the Scout 2.0 is equipped with a classic lacing. This ensures that it is even easier to put on the shoes, which have proven to have a rather narrow design.
The half-high Scout 2.0 is easy to put on thanks to the classic lacing.
The Scout 2.0 can be cared for quickly and easily. With colourless, grease-free shoe polish for suede and nubuck leather, which does not affect the breathability of the leather or the colour of the shoe, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is cared for.
The uncomplicated Scout 2.0 ensures long-lasting enjoyment of the shoe's quality.
From experience, the Scout 2.0 tends to run smaller. We therefore recommend chooding one size larger.
Expreience has shown that the shoe runs one size smaller.
You can find all the right spare parts for our shoes on our spare parts page.
We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.
Half UK sizes differ in length by only a few millimetres.
You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. When it says "Made in Europe" on a HAIX shoe, we assure you that it was made exclusively at our production sites in Mainburg and Mala Subotica, Croatia. Both plants are among the most modern shoe manufacturing facilities in the world.
By the way: "Made in Europe" is not only a promise of quality for us, but also stands for good working conditions, equal opportunities, sustainability and corporate responsibility.

Very comfortable and suitable for the jobWeiterlesen
This boot was my third try after trying and returning boots from a few other manufacturers. They feel strong and solid, but still super light. I use them for bikepacking because I wanted to have a good solid hiking boot for the hike-a-bike sections of a trail. They've already been through some serious terrain and weather and they've kept me dry and warm and have gripped firmly to all the wet, uneven surfaces I've taken them across.Weiterlesen
Very good product
Very good boot (scout v2 ) have had a presentation on them before buying them then decide to make the move from lows to these worth it so much, very comfortable a strong support in the heel and a great lacing system I’m currently using these in the British forces.Weiterlesen
The best boots I've used.
This is my fourth pair of Haix Scout boots. I wear them daily to work and overall believe they are some of the best boots I've ever used. They are comfortable and supportive (even after long periods), durable, light and well styled.
The website sizing guide is a little on the small side. When entering foot length the guide recommended a UK 10.5 but UK 11 is my usual size, the UK 11 fit best.
One thing I have found with these boots is that after heavy use over a year or so the toe box can start to collapse pressing on the toes and making the boot feel too small. Not too much of an issue if you replace them regularly, as I've normally worn them out by this point.
I was a little dubious of the switch to the 2.0 version, I was always a big fan of the quick lace system and the better insoles which don't appear in the 2.0 version. It feels like Haix have possibly tried to save on production cost a little.
It's too early to report how well the 2.0 compares to the original Scout, but I'm hopeful they will live up to their reputation.
Very good 5star
Good boot and very good delivery service.Weiterlesen
Great Boot - 2nd pair
Second pair of Scout Boots. Hard-wearing and very comfortable, my only wish is they'd kept the quick-lacing system from Scout 1, both for the speed, and the ability to vary the tightness in the lacing two zones.Weiterlesen
Really well made boot. Feels very sturdy on rugged terrain but also comfortable and keeps the water out! Recommended!Weiterlesen
Excellent boots for a variety of terrains and extremely water proof, really nice qualityWeiterlesen
