The foundation for your protection
The standard for your safety: the EN ISO 20345 standard sets out the basic requirements that a work shoe must meet in order to be considered a safety shoe.
Antistatic thanks to ESD
With the Nevada Pro Mid, you’ll feel pleasantly safe even when working with electronic components, because the Nevada Pro Mid is electrostatically dissipative. This is ensured by ESD in accordance with DIN-EN 61340-5.
Secure hold thanks to anti-slip
The Nevada Pro Mid gives you stability in every position. To protect you against skidding, the sole of the Nevada Pro Mid with its special rubber compound and innovative tread construction offers extremely high slip resistance and grip on a wide variety of surfaces.
Robust and safe thanks to outer leather
The extreme robustness of the Nevada Pro Mid ensure your feet remain unscathed in the rough-and-tumble of everyday work. This is ensured by the resistant outer leather that cannot be damaged by pointed objects or sharp edges.
Metal-free design ensures you can sail through every security check
The Nevada Pro Mid is completely metal-free and therefore ideal for your job in security areas. Annoying beeping in the vicinity of the control systems is now a thing of the past.
Relieving cushioning with HAIX absorption
You'll experience a comfortable feel in the Nevada Pro Mid even when you're out for several hours. Because the integrated cushioning wedge inside cushions your steps. We call this HAIX Absorption: for drive even on long working days.
Practical velcro fastener
With your Nevada Pro Mid, tying shoelaces is a thing of the past! Thanks to the practical velcro fastener, your Nevada Pro Mid can be closed in no time at all.
Precise fit thanks to special lasts
The right shoe for your feet. Thanks to specially designed lasts, your Nevada Pro Mid fits perfectly and provides ultimate wearing comfort, the whole day long.
Different insoles are available for Nevada Pro Mid to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Nevada Pro Mid has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Nevada Pro Mid to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
The Nevada Pro Mid is a breathable, lightweight shoe that meets the highest safety standards. The puncture-resistant sole and toe cap provides protection. We have deliberately dispensed with the Gore-Tex membrane to make the shoe even more breathable.
Particularly popular for daytime fire service.
Compared to its predecessor Nevada Mid, the Nevada Pro Mid is equipped with an even more sturdy and comfortable non-slip sole. The 2-fold velcro closure ensures quick on and off and a secure fit. For all those who do not want to compromise on safety.
The sole of the Nevada Pro Mid provides the necessary grip so that you can carry out your activities without any impediment.
The men's model of the HAIX Nevada Pro Mid is produced on a wider last to give wider feet more room in the shoe. There are no visual or functional differences here.
The men's model is recommended for wider feet due to the fit.
You can find all the right spare parts for our shoes on our spare parts page.
We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.
Half UK sizes differ in length by only a few millimetres.
You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Nevada Pro Mid is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

Delivered promptly and in good packaging.
The boots are very comfortable and give excellent support to my ageing feet I wish I had found you years ago, they seem to be very well madeWeiterlesen
Excellent customer service. The boots arrived very quickly. I was well informed about my order and delivery schedule
My husband has been wearing the HAIX Nevada Pro Mid boot for several years now and I think this says everything to support the excellent rating score. He finds them extremely comfortable, supportive and easy to put on and take off. They are the only working boot that he has found comfortable from day 1, therefore no need to "break them in" over a few days before wearing them every day!Weiterlesen
At first where the straps are stitched into the boot digs into your foot as you wear them, but after wearing them for a couple hours the material softens and it no longer digs in and becomes an extremely comfortable work bootWeiterlesen
I initially ordered a pair of size 11uk, usually if I order size 11uk in almost any make of shoe or boot they are too small, my size as an adult was always 10 1/2uk until most manufactures changed manufacturing to the far east, now very often I have to go to size 12uk , these Haix boots I now have are size10 1/2uk and fit perfectly!
they seem well made but time will tell, I purchased them because they have velcro fastenings, otherwise I would likely not have heard of the brand. some of the reviews said buy a size smaller, my advise wold be to use their size guide and order the correct ones for you.
Feet slip in easily when putting on, no shoe horn required and they are easily fastened and unfastened, so they fit my needs perfectly.
The only downside I would say and this is the company not the boots, is they are not in the uk as implied by the name Haix UK and they charge VAT when no VAT should be charged as safety boots in the UK for sole traders and individuals are zero rated, this makes these already expensive boots even more expensive for UK buyers, they have informed me they are looking into this but it will take time, why?
I purchased my normal size, which turned out to be too large, the return process was straightforward. The size guide on the website would seem to be the best way to choose.
The boots are extremely easy to slip on and off, very comfortable from the off and with the velcro very easy to fasten and unfasten, which was my main reason for choosing them, they look well made, but time will tell as to durability.
So far I am extremely happy with them
