EXTRAGUARD upper material is a lightweight, multi-layered synthetic textile with a breathable inner construction layer that minimizes water absorption. This material is characterized by its robustness, quick drying, flame-retardant, and durable properties. Additionally, it is particularly easy to maintain. Due to the additional welding, the EXTRAGUARD upper material, together with the GORE-TEX CROSSTECH® lining, provides enhanced protection against hazardous substances, making it ideal for demanding applications.

Different insoles are available for FIRE EAGLE 3.0 EXG to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The FIRE EAGLE 3.0 EXG meets all requirements of the S3 classification. The puncture-resistant sole and toe cap protect against external influences. However, as the shoe is certified according to the fire brigade standard DIN EN 15090, it cannot be designated as an S3 shoe.
The FIRE EAGLE 3.0 EXG meets the requirements, but is not S3 certified due to the fire brigade standard.
With EXTRAGUARD, you choose an upper material that is not only robust but also particularly easy to care for. Unlike leather, you do not need special cleaning products – a little water is enough to restore your shoes to top shape.

Once the minimum tread depth of 1.5 mm has been reached, we recommend sending the FIRE EAGLE 3.0 EXG in for a sole replacement.
Per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) are a group of chemicals used in various products due to their water- and grease-repellent properties. Because of their persistence in the environment and potential health concerns, HAIX is striving to switch to PFAS-free materials.
The FIRE EAGLE 3.0 EXG is made exclusively from PFAS-free materials.
