Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Safety 50.1 low to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Black Eagle Safety 50.1 low has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Black Eagle Safety 50.1 low to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
The Black Eagle Safety 50.1 is suitable for anyone looking for a safe shoe with a simple design. The protective toe cap and the puncture-resistant sole ensure safety, the sporty, elegant, simple design ensures an appropriate appearance.

The Black Eagle Safety 53, on the other hand, is made of suede. Unlike the Black Eagle Safety 56 and the Black Eagle Safety 56 LL, the Black Eagle Safety 50.1 is also waterproof.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.
Half UK sizes differ in length by only a few millimetres.
You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Black Eagle Safety 50.1 low is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.

According to occupational safety regulations, electricians are generally required to wear antistatic safety shoes, and these are exactly the types of models we offer.
Important to know:
For work on live electrical conductors, insulating safety shoes are required.
Such shoes are rarely available under European standards (EN), and we do not offer them.
In practice, however, electricians should not work on live parts. If this cannot be avoided, an insulating rubber mat is used. This provides insulation and protection.
Important distinction: Antistatic ≠ ESD ≠ insulating
To avoid misunderstandings:
- Antistatic shoes → Standard footwear for electricians.
- ESD shoes → Highly conductive. Used in areas where even the smallest electrical charges could damage electronic components (electronics manufacturing).
- Insulating shoes → Do not conduct electrical current at all. They are not commonly used by electricians in Europe, as insulating mats are used instead.

These shoes are really an amazing product, of course they are a little expensive, but as I have worked as a bricklayer in the construction industry for 40 yrs and have worn loads of different… These shoes are really an amazing product, of course they are a little expensive, but as I have worked as a bricklayer in the construction industry for 40 yrs and have worn loads of different types of safety shoes. And these are my second pair of Haix as I have a pair of higher boots for the winter, They are so comfortable, really well made and worth every penny you spend on them so don’t be put off by the cost just get a pair
