Material	Properties
Nano-Carbon	Extremely lightweight, very robust, offers high protection while being lightweight. Ideal for long periods of wear.
Composite	Plastic composite, metal-free, lightweight and corrosion-resistant. Well suited for work areas with metal detectors.
Steel	Classic protection, particularly resistant to penetration and pressure. Somewhat heavier, but very durable.

Nano-carbon toe caps are metal-free, extremely lightweight and particularly comfortable, composite caps also offer metal-free protection with good stability, while steel caps stand out for their traditional robustness and high impact resistance.

Different insoles are available for BLACK EAGLE Safety 200 | M, T to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.

Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.

The BLACK EAGLE Safety 200 | M, T has a quick-release fastener with which the lacing can be quickly fixed. The lacing is easily tucked away in the flap, so that the hold is guaranteed during the working day.

The BLACK EAGLE Safety 200 | M, T can be put on and taken off quickly and easily, so that the focus can be fully placed on the work.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.

The BLACK EAGLE Safety 200 | M, T has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.

This allows the BLACK EAGLE Safety 200 | M, T to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.

According to occupational safety regulations, electricians are generally required to wear antistatic safety shoes, and these are exactly the types of models we offer.

Important to know:

For work on live electrical conductors, insulating safety shoes are required.

Such shoes are rarely available under European standards (EN), and we do not offer them.

In practice, however, electricians should not work on live parts. If this cannot be avoided, an insulating rubber mat is used. This provides insulation and protection.

Important distinction: Antistatic ≠ ESD ≠ insulating

To avoid misunderstandings:

Antistatic shoes → Standard footwear for electricians.
ESD shoes → Highly conductive. Used in areas where even the smallest electrical charges could damage electronic components (electronics manufacturing).
Insulating shoes → Do not conduct electrical current at all. They are not commonly used by electricians in Europe, as insulating mats are used instead.
