Best boots I've bought so far

The boots only took a… Ok, not the cheapest boots you can buy, especially for every day wear when you don't work in the forces, but I wanted something substantial, well-made and hard-wearing. The boots only took a few days to arrive in the UK and although I should have perhaps gone a half-size bigger, I am very impressed. The boots fit narrow and the lacing system is very clever, including a pocket to tuck the laces in. The locking mechanism on the lace eyelet at the ankle area works brilliantly. Once it's locked, you have to physically unlock it. The boot is made from good quality leather, and the finish is really good. They are solid and not flimsy like some boots I have worn, and they look ready for anything. Really good ankle support, too. I have had them just over a week and wear them every day and despite a little rubbing as I broke them in, they have been ace. Very pleased with them and I think they will last years.
