HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. When it says "Made in Europe" on a HAIX shoe, we assure you that it was made exclusively at our production sites in Mainburg and Mala Subotica, Croatia. Both plants are among the most modern shoe manufacturing facilities in the world.
By the way: "Made in Europe" is not only a promise of quality for us, but also stands for good working conditions, equal opportunities, sustainability and corporate responsibility.
The women's model of the HAIX Connexis Go GTX Ws mid/silver-snow is produced on a narrower last to accommodate slender feet. There are no visual or functional differences here.
The women's model is recommended for narrow feet due to the fit.
As a leisure shoe, the Connexis Go GTX Ws mid/silver-snow does not have to be tested according to the DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) standard. This means that the shoe is not subject to certification. It is therefore suitable for orthopaedic insoles. This allows the Connexis Go GTX Ws mid/silver-snow to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
Fascia is basically a packaging tissue that sits beneath the skin. It is a fascinating network of connective tissue which essentially ties everything together. Fasciae give our body a shape and act as a binding mechanism.
Without fascia, our muscles would not be able to tense. They would resemble a semi-liquid jelly.
A tape runs through the shoe, enveloping the tarsus. When you put the tape on, it puts pressure on the fascia in the bottom of your foot. The trigger points in the insole provide additional impulses. Basically, this is similar to training with a fascia roller.
Tight fasciae are loosened and the musculature is stimulated.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Connexis Go GTX Ws mid/silver-snow is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.

Guter Schuh für schmale Füße
Ein sehr schöner Schuh mit viel Halt für jedes Gelände, aber leider sehr schmal. Evtl. muss man ihn eine Größe größer bestellen. Mir war er leider zu fest und drückte sowohl an den Seiten, als auch auf dem Spann. Die Länge war gut, die Zehen hatten ausreichend Platz. Ich trage immer 39 und er wäre mit 40 zu lang gewesen. Für einen Outdoorschuh sollte er bequemer sitzen. Aber ansonsten sicher ein guter Begleiter für jegliche Aktivitäten im Freien.

Meine Frau hat zeitgleich mit mir diesen Schuh gekauft und nutzt ihn mit dem Hund. Auch Sie ist der Ansicht, dass die Sohlen zu dünn und die Fersendämpfung zu gering ist. Bei glatten ebenen Wegen ok, aber man spürt jeden Stein durch die Sohle. Als Freizeitschuh nur bedingt einsetzbar. Zumal bei diesem Preis hätten wir mehr erwartet.
