HAIX shoes are 100% Made in Europe. For us, this is not just lip service, but lived practice. When it says "Made in Europe" on a HAIX shoe, we assure you that it was made exclusively at our production sites in Mainburg and Mala Subotica, Croatia. Both plants are among the most modern shoe manufacturing facilities in the world.
By the way: "Made in Europe" is not only a promise of quality for us, but also stands for good working conditions, equal opportunities, sustainability and corporate responsibility.
As a leisure shoe, the CONNEXIS Force GTX LTR does not have to be tested according to the DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) standard. This means that the shoe is not subject to certification. It is therefore suitable for orthopaedic insoles. This allows the CONNEXIS Force GTX LTR to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
The CONNEXIS Force GTX LTR can be cared for quickly and easily. With black shoe polish, which does not impair the breathability of the leather, and a waterproofing agent, the shoe is ready for any weather. For this model, we especially recommend our black shoe polish, which contains Sun Reflect pigments. This minimises the heating of the shoe by 20%.

Fascia is basically a packaging tissue that sits beneath the skin. It is a fascinating network of connective tissue which essentially ties everything together. Fasciae give our body a shape and act as a binding mechanism.
Without fascia, our muscles would not be able to tense. They would resemble a semi-liquid jelly.
We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

The DIN EN ISO 20347 standard is an European standard for occupational footwear that has been revised. What was previously known as safety class O2, which is permanently waterproof, will henceforth be classified as safety class O6.

Sehr gut, mit kleiner Einschränkung
Ich habe bereits das Vorgängermodell, die Connexis GO GTX LTR MID besessen und kann zum Vorgänger sagen, dass es mit das bequemste Paar Dienstschuhe ist, das ich jemals hatte. Einmal eingelau… Ich habe bereits das Vorgängermodell, die Connexis GO GTX LTR MID besessen und kann zum Vorgänger sagen, dass es mit das bequemste Paar Dienstschuhe ist, das ich jemals hatte. Einmal eingelaufen - perfekt, Sommer wie Winter. Solange, bis sich die Sohle nach 2 Jahren täglicher Benutzung stellenweise vom Schuh gelöst hat. Daher musste die neue Version "Connexis FORCE GTX LTR MID" her, denn eine Reparatur war beim Vorgänger wohl nicht möglich. Hier hingegen ist ein Austausch der Sohle möglich. Der Schuh ist ebenso bequem wie der Vorgänger. Was mir nicht ganz gefällt, ist die Lederzunge, die doch ziemlich weit nach oben heraus ragt, aber im oberen Teil keinerlei stützende Funktion erfüllt. Die etwas niedriger geschnittenen Vorgänger haben mir gefühlt einen besseren Halt im Schuh vermittelt, als die aktuelle Version. Die lange Lederzunge ist für mich etwas störend und könnte gerne wieder kürzer gehalten werden.

Comfy and great quality
The Connexis Force GTX is a very comfortable and high quality shoe. I bought it for autumn/winter use, when most other shoes easily get wet in the slush. Being warm footed, I especially like that they ventilate pretty decently for a waterproof shoe. These also have good traction in Finnish winter conditions for general use, are fast to put on and look casual enough not to be mistaken for some special forces operative.

Trage den Schuh jetzt 1Woche. Ich finde, dass das neue Modell schicker als das alte und gefühlt ist der Schuh auch leichter als das Vorgängermodell. Der trage Komfort ist sehr gut keine Probleme auch wenn man den Schuh 8std am Tag trägt. Kann den Schuh empfehlen.

Hält was er verspricht
Der Schuh ist gut. Habe ihn jetzt seit einer Woche und bereits mehrfach getragen. Der Connexis-Effekt ist da. Allen Versprechungen, die ihn laut Werbung so besonders machen, hält er stand. Er verleiht dem Fuß auch bei starker Belastung ein angenehmes, dynamisches Tragegefühl, welches über den Tag konstant bleibt. Die Befürchtung, dass der Komfort nach mehreren Stunden nachlässt, ist unbegründet. Vier Sterne von mir. Ich kann das Produkt empfehlen und bin gespannt, ob die Qualität von Dauer ist.
