Different insoles are available for Black Eagle Safety 56 mid to increase or reduce the volume in the shoe. For this purpose, we have developed a slightly thicker insole for narrow feet and a slightly thinner insole for wider feet.
Our Vario-Wide-Fit-System allows you to adjust the volume in the shoe.
The Black Eagle Safety 56 mid has been tested according to the standard DGUV 112-191 (BGR 191) and is therefore approved for orthopaedic insoles.
This allows the Black Eagle Safety 56 mid to be adapted even more optimally to the foot and to support its anatomical structure.
The Black Eagle Safety 56 is a great fit for anyone looking for a rugged but relatively lightweight shoe. The sturdy leather provides the necessary robustness, the comparatively low weight for comfort. Due to the lack of a GORE-TEX® membrane, the shoe is not waterproof, but very breathable. For all those who work indoors and outdoors in hard-wearing conditions.

In our Black Eagle Safety 56 we have deliberately dispensed with a membrane in order to make the shoe even more airy. However, in order to also be protected against wetness and moisture, the leather of the shoe has been hydrophobised. This means that water simply rolls off the shoe and prevents moisture from penetrating the shoe from the outside.
The Black Eagle Safety 56 offers first-class protection against wetness and moisture.
The Black Eagle Safety 56, unlike the Black Eagle Safety 50, Black Eagle Safety 53 and Black Eagle Safety 54, does not have a GORE-TEX® membrane, so it is not waterproof. The inner material is a breathable textile, whereas the Black Eagle Safety 56 LL is equipped with a leather lining. The fit of all models does not differ.

We produce in a UK shoe size system. The distance between our half UK sizes is only a few millimetres. This makes it more likely to find exactly the right shoe length.

You can simply wash the dirty shoes with water and a brush. Please do not dry the wet shoes (even if they are wet on the inside) on an open fire, a hot stove or a heater. This will change the shape of the shoe. Simply remove the footbed and stuff the shoes with newspaper or use a shoe tree. Then allow the shoes to air dry slowly. We recommend washing the footbed regularly at 30°. In general, it is best to remove the footbed from the shoes after every wear to ensure optimal re-drying.
Simply clean it with a brush and water and let it air dry.
From experience, the Black Eagle Safety 56 mid is a normal size. We therefore recommend that you choose the usual size.
Experience has shown that the shoe fits normally.

The DIN EN ISO 20345 standard is an European standard for safety footwear that has been revised. What was previously known as safety class S3 is now further divided into safety classes S3S, S3L, S7, S7S, and S7L.
